Building on your operational background, you will be an integral member of the team managing the import / export freight movements for your portfolio of key accounts. Initially this role will be focused on general freight, however you will also have the opportunity to be cross trained with project cargo.

Responsibilities with include:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients with ongoing phone, email and face to face visits when required
• Provide a high level of customer service ensuring requirements and service levels are met
• Prompt attention to quote requests, prepare and present proposals
• Manage customer orders and process customer booking requests
• Coordination of freight movements for both Air and Sea shipments while working closely with overseas partners and key customers
• Order management and shipment updates, maintenance of status reports
• Managing delivery requirements
• Collaborate closely with other branches and cross-functional departments, including internal support and sales team, to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency

You will be a passionate and proactive freight professional with a minimum 12 months industry experience and a genuine desire to further develop your skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, solution orientated, positive attitude and high attention to detail. Experience with Cargowise preferred.
