This position will see you take ownership of the Accounts Payable function while also supporting Accounts Receivable processes as required. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the full Accounts Payable function end-to-end
- Review and process supplier invoices and match against job files
- Validating costs ensuring charges are correctly allocated and investigate discrepancies
- Preparing and running daily payment batches including managing different currencies and payment terms
- Performing reconciliations and reporting, and ensuring all costs are accounted for at month-end
- Supporting Accounts Receivable when needed
- Working closely with internal teams, vendors and overseas agents
- Helping the team get up to speed with CargoWise
- Identifying ways to streamline and improve workflows
What You’ll Bring
- Solid experience in Accounts Payable (plus some AR exposure)
- Background in freight forwarding or logistics (highly valued)
- Strong working knowledge of CargoWise
- Confidence to train, guide, and support a growing team
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
