An opportunity now exists for an experienced Animal Nutritionist to join their specialist Nutrition team. This is a pivotal role focused on formulation excellence, product quality, and the delivery of practical, cost-effective nutrition solutions across a broad customer base.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role plays a central part in feed formulation, technical support, and ongoing product development. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and customers to ensure nutritional integrity, compliance, and commercial viability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading formulation, analysis, and cost optimisation of branded and contracted feed products;
• Ensuring all formulations meet nutritional, quality, and regulatory requirements;
• Working with external nutritionists to implement and manage formulation specifications;
• Providing clear, practical nutritional guidance to sales teams and customers;
• Maintaining ingredient databases, specifications, and quality documentation;
• Contributing to research trials, innovation projects, and new product development;
• Developing and delivering technical and educational materials.

Success Profile
You are a technically strong and commercially minded nutritionist who enjoys translating science into practical outcomes.  You will also possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Rural Science, or a related discipline;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience across ruminant and monogastric nutrition;
• Strong capability with nutritional formulation software;
• Experience in product development, trials, or applied research;
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and stakeholders;
• A detail-oriented, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach;
• Working knowledge of quality systems, compliance, and manufacturing best practice.
