Pace Appointments have joined with the leading agricultural company in central QLD to find a motivated and experienced Assistant Chief Electrician to join their leadership team. Working closely with the Chief Electrician, you'll play a key role in overseeing a team of 20 electricians and supporting the safe, reliable operation of the electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Electrician in managing daily electrical operations and staff.
• Lead and supervise electricians and contractors during breakdown and routine maintenance.
• Minimise downtime by driving safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of:
  
  • HV/LV power generation & protection systems
  • AC/DC drives, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems
  • CAD systems, radio comms & telemetry systems

What you'll Bring with you:

• Degree or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, or QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanic Trade Qualification
• Current QLD Electrical Workers Licence 
• Demonstrated experience managing a team of electricians
• Strong background in electrical maintenance (manufacturing or industrial preferred)
• Strong communication and documentation skills
