PACE appointments  is currently assisting one of our valued clients with an urgent requirement for a qualified Boiler Attendant / Engine Driver to join their Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator seeking stable shift work in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers, refrigeration systems, compressors, and associated plant
• Ensure safe operation in accordance with WHS legislation, site procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
• Conduct routine inspections, checks, and log readings
• Respond to alarms, faults, and abnormal operating conditions
• Perform start-ups, shutdowns, isolations, and plant changeovers
• Maintain accurate operational records and compliance documentation
• Report hazards, incidents, and equipment defects in a timely manner

Essential Requirements

• Current HRWL – Advanced Boiler Operation (ABO) – mandatory
• Proven experience operating industrial boilers and refrigeration systems
• Sound knowledge of boiler water chemistry and treatment
• Excellent safety, communication and work ethic history
• Ability to work a rotational roster
