An opportunity is now available for a Business Development Executive to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Conduct outbound calls and timely follow-ups to drive engagement and strengthen relationships.
- Attending regular face-to-face meetings to build trust, nurture long-term partnerships, and uncover new business opportunities.
- Reconnecting with existing clients and introducing company services to new prospects.
- Assist with preparing tailored quotes and pricing proposals that reflect customer needs and market conditions.
- Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date.
- Reporting on your sales activities weekly, providing insights to the leadership team to support informed decision-making.
- Tracking industry trends, competitor movements, and freight pricing to help shape winning sales strategies.
- Representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities to grow your professional network and raise brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, ideally from an operations or customer service background.
- Driven and motivated to build a long term career in sales.
- Ability to conduct client visits and represent the business with professionalism and credibility.
- Effective communication with professional and engaging presentation style.
- A strong relationship builder with a genuine passion for the logistics and freight industry.
- You keep your finger on the pulse of the local forwarding scene, including trends, competitors and opportunities.
