The OpportunityThis is a true hunter role, focused on identifying, securing and developing new business opportunities across airfreight, seafreight and integrated logistics solutions. Once you've secured the client, you'll continue to enjoy the rewards of your success through a highly attractive long-tail commission structure while being supported by dedicated account management and operations teams.
You'll have the freedom to manage your own diary, develop your own sales strategy and build lasting relationships with importers, exporters and supply chain decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities - Develop new business opportunities across freight forwarding and logistics.
- Prospect, network and generate a strong sales pipeline.
- Conduct client meetings and prepare tailored logistics solutions.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and close new business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with operations to ensure seamless customer onboarding.
- Build long-term customer relationships and maximise account growth opportunities.
About You - Proven success in Business Development within Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
- Strong new business focus with a hunter mentality.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Commercially astute with the ability to identify customer opportunities.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing your own schedule.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
