Pace Appointments is proud to be partnering with a well-regarded engineering and manufacturing business in Caboolture to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join a clean, modern and supportive workshop environment.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist with hands-on experience in both manual and CNC machining. You’ll work across a range of materials and equipment, supporting the ongoing production of high-quality components for a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC and manual lathes and milling machines
• Set and run DMG Mori and HAAS machinery
• Perform CNC turning with precision and efficiency
• Interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Machine and fit stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, and plastics
• Assist with general workshop tasks and mentor apprentices
• Maintain productivity across multiple machines
• Meet deadlines with minimal supervision

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade-qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist
• CNC experience essential; programming skills a bonus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and coordination
• Positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
• Physically fit and able to manage workshop duties
• Willingness to support and train apprentices
