Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor delivering a mix of commercial maintenance, upgrades, refurbishments and project-based installations across education, government and commercial facilities throughout South East Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking for variety in their work. You'll split your time between planned maintenance, fault finding, upgrades and installation projects, giving you exposure to both service and project environments without being a dedicated service technician.

THE ROLE

• Commercial electrical maintenance and fault finding
• Minor works, upgrades and refurbishment projects
• Electrical installations across education, government and commercial facilities
• Underground conduit and cable installations
• Cable tray installation, rough-in and fit-off work
• Data and communications cabling
• Switchboard upgrades and modifications
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
• Completing project documentation and site records
• Working closely with project managers, supervisors and other trades
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

ABOUT YOU

• Current QLD Electrical Mechanic Licence
• Current White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience
• Strong commercial construction experience
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and site procedures
