Pace Appointments have joined with a long term, industry leading, privately owned Agribusiness seeking an experienced
Construction Site Supervisor to join the team in
Millmerran. This is a key role overseeing a major
farm construction project, along with ongoing capital works across the site.
About the Role Based onsite at Millmerran, you will supervise a team of builders and coordinate a wide range of construction and maintenance activities across sheds, accommodation facilities, amenities, and additional capital projects.
You will work closely with the team to organise materials, review work orders, and ensure projects are delivered
safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and coordinate a team of builders, electricians and other trades onsite.
- Manage day-to-day construction activities and allocate jobs through the work order system.
- Oversee maintenance and capital works, including sheds, accommodation, amenities blocks, roofing projects, and more.
- Liaise with the Construction Manager for material approvals, workflow planning, and project reviews.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site requirements.
- Maintain oversight of approximately 15-20 company houses and around 50 rental properties related to the site.
About You - Proven experience as a Site Supervisor.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of WHS practices and construction processes.
- Effective communicator who can coordinate with internal teams and contractors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Construction White Card
- Certificate IV in Building & Construction
(or equivalent supervisory/building qualification) - Proven experience supervising construction teams
- ideally 3-5+ years as a Site Supervisor, Leading Hand, Foreperson, or similar. - Strong WHS knowledge and ability to enforce safety standards.
- Valid Driver's Licence
Highly Desirable
- Diploma of Building & Construction (Building)
- beneficial for managing complex, multi-stage projects. - Trade qualification relevant to the construction work, Carpenter/builder/ electrician for practical problem solving.
- Experience with farm or agricultural construction, sheds, accommodation, roofing, and amenities.
- Experience using work order systems and basic computer/office skills.
- First Aid/CPR certification
- High Risk Work Licences
- WHS qualification (Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety)
- Project management software knowledge (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Aconex, or similar)
