About the role
Joining the Customs team, you'll manage customs clearances for your own portfolio of clients, providing practical advice and ensuring their imports move through the clearance process efficiently and compliantly.
Alongside classification and lodgement, you'll be a trusted contact for clients, keeping them informed, resolving queries and helping them navigate their customs requirements. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll bring a consultative approach to problem solving and take pride in delivering accurate, timely outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities - Prepare, review and lodge import declarations, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete
- Undertake tariff classification, customs valuation and assessment of applicable duties and taxes
- Provide advice to clients and internal teams on customs requirements and clearance matters
- Manage clearance updates and enquiries for your client portfolio
- Liaise with relevant authorities and internal operations teams to resolve issues and facilitate cargo release
- Ensure compliance with Australian customs and biosecurity requirements
- Complete final invoicing and maintain accurate job records
- Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical solutions
About you
You'll hold a current Australian Customs Broker Licence and bring sound tariff knowledge, attention to detail and a commitment to getting the outcome right for your clients.
Confident managing your workload independently, you'll also enjoy working collaboratively and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Clear communication, a proactive approach to resolving issues and the ability to explain customs requirements in practical terms will be key to your success.
Benefits - Salary up to $120,000 + super, depending on experience
