We’re seeking a trade-qualified Electrician to join a well-established maintenance team within a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, keeping production moving, and working across a variety of industrial equipment.
You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime through both preventative and reactive maintenance, while contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
Key Responsibilities - Perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance across production and packaging equipment
- Fault find and troubleshoot electrical and associated mechanical issues
- Maintain and repair conveyors, packaging lines, ovens, motors, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems
- Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Accurately complete maintenance reports and documentation
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth and safe operations
- Assist with minor upgrades, installs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all site safety, compliance, and quality standards
About You - Trade qualified Electrician
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance environments
- Exposure to FMCG or food manufacturing highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding ability across electrical systems, with some mechanical aptitude
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-focused, and proactive in approach
