We are looking for a trade qualified Electrician to join the Maintenance Team in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance across a range of production equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining machinery, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring minimal downtime while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault finding, and troubleshooting on production equipment
- Maintain and repair packaging machines, conveyors, ovens, pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, and mobile plant
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns and production delays
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and reports to track performance and repairs
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Assist with minor modifications and installations of equipment when required
- Follow strict safety protocols and participate in ongoing workplace health and safety initiatives
Essential Requirements - Trade qualified Electrician
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial installations and maintenance
- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to work independently and reliably
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge and application of workplace safety and risk management practices
