Are you a residential or commercial electrician ready to step into a more future-focused career pathway? This is a great opportunity to transition into utilities and power by upskilling into Smart Metering, EV charging and advanced metering systems across South East QLD.

No prior metering experience is required — full training is provided for electricians who are eager to learn and grow into a specialist space.

What you’ll be doing

• Electrical installations, servicing and maintenance across varied sites
• Training into Smart Metering (on-market & off-market) including testing and compliance
• Supporting team projects and continuous improvements
• Delivering strong customer service and safe work practices
• Occasional travel to regional areas when required

What we’re looking for

• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• CPR/LVR (required)
• White Card (mandatory) + Driver’s Licence
• Strong communication, pride in workmanship, safety-first attitude
• Keen to upskill into utilities/power and new technology

Desirable (not essential – training available):

• Type 4 Metering Certificate
• Smart meter experience
• Working at Heights
