This is an opportunity to combine your export operations expertise with key account management and customer service in a role where you’ll have genuine ownership.

You’ll work closely with a major client, becoming a trusted point of contact and managing their freight requirements from booking through to delivery.

The Role

You’ll manage the day-to-day export requirements of key accounts, including:

• Managing client relationships and providing proactive customer service.
• Coordinating bookings, documentation, customs, transport and shipment milestones.
• Liaising with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents and transport providers.
• Monitoring cargo movements and keeping clients updated.
• Resolving issues quickly and providing practical solutions.
• Negotiating export freight rates and managing commercially sound outcomes.
• Ensuring export documentation and compliance requirements are met.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a strong Export Operator who enjoys being customer-facing and wants to take the next step into a broader client-focused role.

You’ll ideally have:

• 5+ years’ freight forwarding export experience, strong in sea freight.
• Proven key account & customer service experience with confident client communication.
• Strong CargoWise skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
