The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established and growing organisation based in the Brisbane north region, seeking a capable and detail-oriented Finance Officer to take ownership of a broad range of finance and administration functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident managing financial processes from start to finish. Working closely with the wider team, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes;
• Preparing and maintaining product and unit costings;
• Performing bank, supplier and account reconciliations;
• Processing supplier payments and end-of-month payment reviews;
• Coordinating invoice approvals and financial data entry;
• Maintaining databases, records and financial documentation;
• Assisting with compliance and reporting requirements;
• Supporting data management activities relating to sales and related transactions;
• Providing general administrative support as required.

About You
To be successful in this position, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or similar role;
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations;
• High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy;
• Experience working with accounting software and financial systems;
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities;
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel;
• A proactive approach and willingness to assist across both finance and administration functions.
