The Opportunity

In This Role You'll Have the Opportunity To:

• Take full ownership of the finance function within a successful and growing food manufacturing business
• Lead meaningful system improvement and process automation initiatives from day one
• Manage financial and management accounting across a varied and interesting manufacturing environment
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and product costing analysis
• Oversee inventory management support and Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance
• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute to system implementation projects that modernise the finance function
• Build a long-term, flexible career with a business that values practical expertise and continuous improvement

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Bring:

• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Solid experience across both financial and management accounting
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset
• Experience implementing or improving finance systems and processes
• Confidence managing projects and driving change initiatives
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is desirable — a bonus, not a must
• Cost accounting and inventory management background is advantageous
