Job Details

An opportunity is available for an experienced Qualified Fitter to join a busy workshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical fitting skills, particularly across hydraulic systems and machinery repairs.
The Role:

• Troubleshoot, repair, install and commission hydraulic systems.
• Manufacture hydraulic hoses.
• Complete mechanical assembly and disassembly of machinery.
• Work with bearings, bushes and general mechanical components.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs on new and existing equipment.
• Identify faults and work independently to resolve issues.

About You:

• Trade qualified Fitter with solid practical experience.
• Hydraulic experience is highly regarded.
• Own comprehensive trade tool kit.
• Physically fit and comfortable working around and underneath machinery.
• Able to work independently and across different workshop areas.
• Forklift licence preferred, or willingness to obtain one.

What’s on Offer?

• $50–$55 per hour, depending on experience.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday.
• Approximately 6:00am–5:00pm or 6:30am–4:00pm.
• Overtime available.
• Potential for a 4-day working week for the right person.
• Predominantly workshop-based position.
