Our client, a successful long-standing agribusiness, is now seeking a motivated mechanic to keep their plant and equipment running safely and efficiently. Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop Manager, your key duties will include:
- Conducting inspections, servicing, and repairs on heavy vehicles and mechanical equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, both simple and complex
- Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- Ordering parts and managing job progress with the workshop team
- Communicating updates, delays, or concerns promptly
- Participating in on-call duties when required
What You’ll Bring We are after a reliable, skilled, and team-focused professional.
- Mechanical Experience is essential
- Trade-qualified Mechanic – Light and/or Heavy Vehicle
- Strong mechanical experience and diagnostic skills
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
