Are you a skilled, hands-on Heavy Diesel Mechanic looking to join a supportive, professional team? Our client, a successful long-standing agribusiness, is now seeking a motivated mechanic to keep their plant and equipment running safely and efficiently. If you take pride in your workmanship and enjoy a collaborative workshop environment, this is the role for you.

Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop Manager, your key duties will include:

• Conducting inspections, servicing, and repairs on heavy vehicles and mechanical equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, both simple and complex
• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
• Ordering parts and managing job progress with the workshop team
• Communicating updates, delays, or concerns promptly
• Participating in on-call duties when required

What You’ll Bring

• Mechanical Experience is essential
• Trade-qualified Mechanic – Light and/or Heavy Vehicle
• Strong mechanical experience and diagnostic skills
• Proven problem-solving ability
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
