Looking for more than just another workshop job? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established agribusiness seeking a capable Heavy Diesel Mechanic to keep a diverse fleet of trucks, machinery, and farm equipment operating at peak performance within a stable rural operation.

You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of maintenance activities, work closely with management, and play an important part in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What We’re Looking For - Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Experience working on heavy vehicles and mobile plant machinery
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
The Role Working across a wide range of machinery and equipment, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing heavy vehicles, trailers, tractors, loaders, telehandlers, graders, pumps, and farm machinery
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and safely
- Managing maintenance schedules to minimise downtime
- Coordinating repairs and servicing requirements with management and suppliers
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-run workshop
- Liaising with dealerships and external service providers when required
