We are partnering with a well-established national building and repair organisation seeking an
Insurance Repair Supervisor & Estimator to join their South Brisbane team. This position will suit someone who enjoys balancing estimating, project coordination and site-based supervision while delivering quality outcomes for customers.
Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing accurate building estimates and scopes of work
- Take ownership of multiple residential repair and reinstatement projects from initial scope through to handover.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and project schedules
- Managing project timelines, budgets and quality outcomes
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring work progress
- Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Ensuring all works comply with relevant building standards and safety requirements
- Troubleshooting issues and implementing practical solutions to keep projects moving
We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate: - Hold a Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction
- Current Driver Licence and White Card
- Experience estimating and coordinating residential building projects
- Strong understanding of Australian building standards and WHS legislation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational abilities with effective time management
- A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Competent computer skills across Microsoft Office and digital project management platforms
Highly Regarded - Certificate III in Carpentry
- Insurance repair experience
- Knowledge of restoration or water damage projects
- Experience working with insurance claims or remediation works
