An established and respected international freight forwarding and customs business is looking for an ambitious Junior Customs Broker ready to grow under the direct mentorship of a highly experienced Senior Broker.

This is not a back-office processing role — you will sit side-by-side with the Senior Broker, gaining daily exposure to classifications, advisory work, and compliance decision-making.

The Role

• Prepare and lodge import declarations
• Classify goods in line with Australian Border Force requirements
• Provide tariff and duty/GST calculation support
• Liaise directly with clients on documentation and compliance matters
• Work closely with freight operators and internal teams
• Ensure accuracy and legislative compliance on all entries

About You

• Licensed Customs Broker (or very close to completing licensing)
• Solid understanding of tariff classification and customs legislation
• Detail-oriented with a strong compliance mindset
• Confident communicator who can engage with clients professionally
• Motivated to build a long-term career in customs brokerage
