We are currently partnering with several well-established freight forwarding and customs brokerage businesses seeking Licensed Customs Brokers and developing Junior Brokers to join their teams.

These opportunities suit brokers at different stages of their careers — from recently licensed brokers looking to gain exposure and mentoring, through to experienced brokers seeking greater autonomy and responsibility.

You will play a key role in ensuring shipments are cleared efficiently while maintaining compliance with Australian customs legislation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and lodging import declarations
• Tariff classification in accordance with Australian Border Force regulations
• Calculating duties, GST, and applicable charges
• Liaising with clients regarding documentation and customs requirements
• Managing cargo clearances and shipment documentation
• Ensuring compliance with customs legislation and regulatory requirements
• Working closely with freight operations and internal teams

About You

• Licensed Customs Broker or currently completing licensing requirements
• Experience within freight forwarding or customs brokerage
• Strong understanding of tariff classification and customs compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Motivated to build a long-term career within customs brokerage
