The Roles The
Machinist role is hands-on and precision-focused — you'll program and operate CNC lathes, machine to close tolerances, and deliver work to strict quality standards, all while reading drawings and working within a team that takes safety seriously.
The
Machinist Leading Hand builds on this, adding responsibility for leading and supervising a small team, supporting CNC programming, utilising CAD/CAM software, and driving quality and HSEQ standards across the floor.
What You'll Bring - Trade-qualified machinist with CNC lathe programming and operation experience
- Ability to machine to close tolerances and read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and a solid team attitude
- Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment
- Forklift licence (or willing to obtain one)
- Fanuc/Fagor controller or CAD/CAM experience highly regarded
- For the Leading Hand: supervisory experience an advantage
