The Role

As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment through preventative maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on production equipment
• Fault finding on PLCs, motors, drives, sensors and control systems
• Performing electrical testing and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Supporting installation, commissioning and equipment upgrades
• Completing maintenance records using CMMS or similar systems
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence
• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, FMCG, food processing or similar environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs, VSDs, motors and industrial control systems
• A proactive, safety-first approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime or rotating rosters where required

Experience in food manufacturing or meat processing is highly regarded but not essential.

Some opportunities require a Q Fever vaccination, which can be arranged by the employer if required.
