What You’ll Be Doing

• Electrical maintenance, breakdown response, and fault finding across plant and equipment
• Repairing and maintaining motors, switchboards, control panels, and automated systems
• Diagnosing faults using testing equipment and interpreting results
• Supporting installations, upgrades, and shutdown/project work
• Working alongside fitters, engineers, and contractors on site improvements
• Ensuring minimal downtime and keeping production running efficiently
• Maintaining high safety standards including LOTO, PPE, and site compliance

About You

• Trade qualified Electrician with current licences
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (food/meat processing highly regarded)
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in a team

Working Environment

• Fast-paced production setting
• Exposure to cold, wet, and humid conditions
• Working around active machinery and processing lines
• PPE and strict hygiene standards required

Important Requirement

• Willing to obtain a Q Fever vaccination (mandatory for this environment)
