Pace Appointments are partnering with a well-established and growing food production site in Caboolture, offering a secure opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter. With ongoing investment into the facility, you’ll be working on reliable, well-maintained equipment in a site that values its maintenance team.

The Role

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across production machinery
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs
• Working across conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, motors, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Assisting with installs, upgrades, and shutdown works
• Collaborating with production to minimise downtime and improve performance
• Maintaining high safety and hygiene standards

About You

• Trade qualified Maintenance / Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or industrial environments
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
• Hydraulics and pneumatics experience (highly regarded)
• Basic welding and fabrication skills (desirable)
• Reliable, hands-on, and able to work autonomously or in a team

What You’ll Need to Know

• Q Fever vaccination required (or willingness to obtain)
