We are seeking
two trade-qualified Maintenance Fitters to join a growing maintenance team in Brisbane's Western Suburbs. These positions offer the opportunity to work across established production machinery and newly introduced automated manufacturing technology.

THE OPPORTUNITIES We are recruiting for two separate Maintenance Fitter positions:
MAINTENANCE FITTER – ROLL FORMING & PRODUCTION This position will focus on maintaining a manufacturing line, including roll-forming machinery, conveyors and associated production equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Maintaining roll-forming machinery and conveyor systems
- Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues
- Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Working closely with production teams to keep the line operating efficiently
To be successful, you will have:
- A recognised Mechanical Fitter or Fitter and Turner trade qualification
- Previous experience maintaining roll-forming machinery
- Experience with conveyor systems and production equipment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- A proactive and safety-focused approach
MAINTENANCE FITTER – AUTOMATION This position will support modern automated manufacturing equipment and is ideal for a fitter with experience working in highly automated production environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing preventative and breakdown maintenance on automated machinery
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and reducing production downtime
- Supporting the commissioning and ongoing maintenance of new equipment
- Assisting Engineering with machinery upgrades and improvement projects
- Working with production teams to optimise equipment performance
- Completing maintenance documentation and safety checks
- Contributing to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
To be successful, you will have:
- A recognised Mechanical Fitter or Fitter and Turner trade qualification
- Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Exposure to industrial automation systems
- Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
- Exposure to Allen-Bradley control systems is highly regarded
