Afternoon Shift Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing
�� Location: Cleveland, Brisbane
�� Pay Rate: $50–$55 per hour + penalties
�� Hours: Afternoon Shift – 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

About the Role
Join a rapidly expanding food manufacturing business operating a modern, high-volume production facility in Cleveland. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to support ongoing growth and machinery expansion. This is a great opportunity to join a hands-on and collaborative maintenance team within a clean, purpose-built site that is scaling from 2.5 production lines to 4 by early next year.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Ensure plant reliability through scheduled maintenance and quick response to breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults across conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Line Changeovers: Assist with efficient production line setups and changeovers.
• Machinery Improvements: Contribute to upgrades and performance optimisations.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all WHS requirements and maintain accurate maintenance records.

About You

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting & Turning or equivalent).
• Strong background in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing or food processing.
• Confident diagnosing faults under time pressure.
• Available for afternoon shift, Monday to Friday.
• Team-oriented, safety-conscious, and detail-focused.
