We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing operation based in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. These are full-time, long-term opportunities offering consistent hours, strong overtime potential, and job security.

Available Shifts

• AM Shift: 6:00am – 2:06pm or 4:00am – 12:06pm
• PM Shift: 2:00pm – 10:06pm (includes shift allowance)
• 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and overtime as required.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining plant reliability and minimising downtime across a busy FMCG production site. The role is largely focused on reactive and breakdown maintenance during weekdays, with preventative and corrective works typically scheduled across weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown and reactive maintenance across production equipment
• Maintain plant reliability and minimise downtime
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance
• Work within a collaborative, multi-trade maintenance team
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with site safety and operational procedures

Equipment

Industrial grinders, blenders, coating equipment, forming machines and freezers.

Requirements

• Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical) / Fitter & Turner
• 1–3+ years’ experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments
• Strong breakdown maintenance experience
• MIG and TIG welding capability (essential)
• Machining and lathe experience
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Permanent working rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)

Desirable

• LF Forklift Licence
• Experience working rotating shifts
