Job Title: Maintenance Fitter
 Location: Carole Park, QLD
Pay Rate: $47 per hour + penalties
 Roster: 4 on, 4 off rotating shifts (including weekends)
Shift Times:

• 4:15 AM – 2:15 PM (Day Shift)
• 1:45 PM – 11:45 PM (Afternoon Shift)
  No on-call requirements | Overtime & shift cover available (paid at $40/hr base rate)

With a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our growing team at our Carole Park facility. Key Responsibilities

• Routine & Preventative Maintenance: Ensure equipment reliability through regular inspections and servicing.
• Breakdown & Fault Repairs: Troubleshoot mechanical issues to keep production moving.
• Safety Compliance: Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Project Involvement: Support installations, upgrades, and machinery modifications.
• Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other departments to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For

• Trade qualified with a Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting & Turning)
• Experience in industrial maintenance – ideally in food, FMCG, or manufacturing
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must be available to work weekends as part of the roster
• Comfortable working 4-on-4-off rotating shifts
• Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
• A proactive attitude with attention to quality and detail

Tools, Equipment & Team

• Exposure to: grinders, blenders, coating equipment, formers, freezers
• Maintenance is a mix of reactive (weekdays) and preventative (weekends)
• Team includes:
  
  • 1 Fitter & 1 Electrician per shift
  • Leading Hands (Mechanical & Electrical) on day shift
  • Trade Assistant and Supervisor support
  • A close-knit, mature maintenance team with a collaborative approach
