Maintenance Fitters – FMCG & Manufacturing Brisbane | Day & Afternoon Shifts Available | Permanent Roles

About the Roles You will join a high-performing maintenance team responsible for ensuring plant equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently. These roles offer exposure to modern automation, fast-paced production environments and a variety of machinery across food manufacturing, packaging, industrial processing and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and corrective maintenance on production and packaging machinery
• Fault finding, breakdown response and troubleshooting
• Machinery setup, adjustments, changeovers and continuous improvement
• Working with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulics
• Maintaining CMMS records and adhering to site safety and GMP standards
• Collaborating with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime

What We’re Looking For

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter
• Experience in FMCG, food, beverage, plastics, manufacturing or similar
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Welding skills (MIG/TIG/Stick) highly advantageous
• Confined space, forklift or EWP tickets desirable

Shifts Available

• Day Shift: Monday–Friday
• Afternoon Shift: Monday–Friday with penalty loading
  Competitive hourly rates offered based on experience.
