We're partnering with several well-established FMCG and food manufacturing companies across Brisbane's northern suburbs who are looking for experienced Maintenance Fitters to join their growing maintenance teams.

The Role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently by maintaining, repairing, and improving critical plant equipment.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
• Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance
• Maintaining conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and processing equipment
• Identifying and resolving mechanical issues to minimise downtime
• Assisting with equipment upgrades, shutdowns, and installation projects
• Working closely with production, engineering, and electrical teams
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

About the Environment

These are fast-paced manufacturing facilities producing products used by Australians every day.
You may be working in:

• Food processing plants
• Packaging and production facilities
• Automated manufacturing environments
• Temperature-controlled areas
• High-volume FMCG operations

What We're Looking For

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter (or equivalent)
• Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, processing, packaging, or industrial maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and breakdown maintenance skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability

Highly Regarded

• Food manufacturing experience
• Welding, fabrication, or machining skills
• Experience using CMMS systems
• Continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience
