Pace Appointments are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established industrial production facility in Cannon Hill. This is a long-term opportunity offering strong pay, consistent hours, and regular overtime on a modern, fast-paced site.

You will play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting efficient production across a range of industrial equipment.

What’s on Offer

• $49.07 per hour + overtime (150% first 3 hours, 200% thereafter)
• 40-hour week with consistent overtime available

The Role

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across industrial machinery
• Fault finding and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Routine servicing, inspections, and lubrication
• Responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Assisting with installs, upgrades, and commissioning
• Maintaining records using CMMS
• Identifying root causes and contributing to continuous improvement
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times

What You’ll Need

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (4-year apprenticeship or equivalent)
• Welding certification
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability
• Understanding of maintenance best practices and production processes
• Reliable, team-oriented, and proactive

Roster

• Rotating shifts:
  
  • Day: 4:00am – 2:30pm
  • Night: 2:30pm – 1:00am
