About the Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing site located in the Redland Bay region. This role is ideal for a local Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor looking for a position closer to home with genuine autonomy, stability, and strong organisational support.
The Role In this hands-on leadership position, you will:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the on-site maintenance team.
• Oversee all maintenance projects, resources, and scheduling.
• Manage maintenance expenditure and ensure budget alignment.
• Administer and optimise the Maintenance Management System (MEX experience essential).
• Drive a proactive maintenance culture focused on prevention and reliability.
• Develop effective working relationships across the business and external stakeholders.
• Ensure plant safety, compliance, and operational uptime.

Skills & Experience We are seeking candidates who offer:

• Strong leadership qualities and confidence managing a team.
• Trades background or solid mechanical/electrical understanding.
• Financial acumen and experience managing maintenance budgets.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience managing maintenance functions within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Mandatory experience using MEX or a comparable CMMS.
