The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the site's maintenance and engineering function, ensuring production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
 
This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with production teams, lead continuous improvement initiatives, drive preventative maintenance strategies, and oversee capital projects that support business growth.  If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and making a genuine impact, this role offers the best of both worlds. You'll be empowered to influence site performance and tackle technical challenges that keep production moving.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical trade
• Previous experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments
• Sound knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and reliability practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and operational performance
• Experience working within high-volume production environments highly regarded
