- 10:00pm – 7:20am
- Every second Thursday off
Team 2 - Monday – Friday
- 10:00pm – 7:20am

About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee the night shift maintenance team, ensuring plant reliability, minimising downtime, and maintaining high safety and food quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll coordinate maintenance activities, support your team during breakdowns, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Fitters and Electricians
- Coordinate breakdown response, fault finding, and maintenance priorities
- Drive preventative maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives
- Minimise production downtime through effective planning
- Promote a strong safety-first culture
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and site procedures
- Coach and develop tradespeople and apprentices
- Complete shift handovers and maintenance reporting
- Support continuous improvement projects
- Work closely with production to achieve operational targets
About You You'll bring: - A trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Electrical, or a related trade
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Leading Hand, or Team Leader
- Strong maintenance experience within manufacturing, food processing, meat processing, or heavy industry
- Proven leadership experience in a 24/7 production environment
- Excellent fault-finding, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and people leadership abilities
- A genuine commitment to safety and continuous improvement
