Pace Appointments have joined with multiple large company who lead the way in their specific industries! Seeking Mechanical/Maintenance Fitters to join their progressive and innovative teams!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment: 
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain equipment functionality to minimize downtime and ensure consistent performance.
• Perform regular inspections and service routines; implement planned maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with workshop staff and operational teams to support production goals.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and maintenance documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Assist with installation of new systems and equipment upgrades, including digital monitoring or automation enhancements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost reliability, efficiency, and system longevity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Trade‑qualified (e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter) with a strong record in industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics and system repair.
• Familiarity with safety practices, and regulatory compliance in food production environments.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
