Pace have joined with a very successful long-standing Agribusiness seeking a hands-on
Mechanical Processing Supervisor to lead daily operations with a strong focus on
equipment reliability, maintenance coordination, and production efficiency.
This role suits a mechanically minded supervisor with experience in processing or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily processing operations to meet production and quality targets
- Coordinate and support maintenance and mechanical readiness of plant and equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate repairs as required
- Monitor schedules, production performance, and operational records
- Lead, roster, and train staff with a focus on safe equipment operation
- Support WHS and QA systems and promote a strong safety culture
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call alarm monitoring roster
About You
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience around processing plant and equipment
- Supervisory experience in manufacturing, processing, hatchery, or industrial environments
- Practical, hands-on leadership style
- Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Safety-focused and comfortable working in physically demanding conditions
Desirable
- Experience in agribusiness, hatchery, poultry, or food processing
- Trade, technical, or agricultural qualifications
