About the Role They are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper to join their team in a flexible part-time capacity.
This is a hands-on role suited to an organised, accurate and proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration and ensuring matters are followed through to completion.
- Complete regular bank reconciliations and allocate transactions in CargoWise
- Manage accounts receivable, including debtor follow-up and customer statements
- Process accounts payable and reconcile supplier accounts
- Prepare supplier payment batches for approval
- Monitor cash flow and prepare aged debtor and creditor reports
- Assist with month-end bookkeeping and general finance administration
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and outstanding transactions
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier records in CargoWise
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, management and external accountants
- Assist with general finance and administrative tasks as required
About You We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and proactive, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities.
You will bring: - Hands-on CargoWise experience – essential
- Previous bookkeeping, accounts or finance administration experience
- Experience across both accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Strong reconciliation and bookkeeping skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation
- Good Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- The ability to work independently and see tasks through to completion
- Clear communication skills and a proactive approach
- A relevant accounting qualification would be advantageous.
Flexible Part-Time Opportunity This is a 20–25 hour per week role, with flexibility around the days and hours worked. School-hours arrangements may also be considered for the right person.
