Joining an experienced and fast-moving team who operate across Australia and New Zealand and live and breathe their values, you will report to the HR Manager who is also based in Brisbane.  This would suit an experienced payroll officer who has had exposure to HR administration, or are looking to diversify their role by increasing their exposure to include HR duties.
  
The Role:

• Assist with processing weekly employee wages (approx. 700) ensuring that overtime, adjustments, allowances and leave entitlements are paid correctly;
• Investigate and resolve any payroll related issues with line managers and employees;
• Support compliance with all applicable employment laws, Awards/Enterprise Agreements and taxation regulation;
• Maintain accurate employee records;
• Assist with the onboarding processes including preparation of employment contracts;
• Provide general administrative support to the People and Culture team.

Success Profile:

• Proven payroll experience and confidence across HR administration noting that the lion share of time would be spent in HR;
• Exposure to interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and knowledge of employment legislation;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
• Availability and willingness to work in office Monday – Friday in a full time capacity.
