We are seeking to appoint a HR Business Partner on our client’s behalf, with the key deliverable being the operational support and engagement by harnessing your generalist expertise and including ER, IR and recruitment facets.
Scope Reporting to the General Manager, as an integral contributor to the success of this operation, you will be at the helm as a valued member of the team, contributing to and driving a range of HR initiatives that build alignment between the contribution of all people, and the achievement of business strategy and objectives.
Partnering collaboratively with a diversity of internal stakeholders, you will strategise and support, to move both the business and individuals further forward.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Talent attraction, recruitment and selection, onboarding procedures and related transactional HR services;
- Co-ordinating, implementing and partnering on performance management, training, rehabilitation and return to work programs;
- Partnering with business leaders to understand requirements and development of HR solutions;
- Overall compliance across all pursuant legislation and policies;
- Collaborating on policies and procedures, approaches and initiatives along with cohesive execution;
- Coaching and mentoring internal stakeholders and hiring managers on workforce planning, development and performance related matters;
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, employee take up and engagement and analysing data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Success Profile A consummate professional, able to delicately juggle the many facets of the role with agility, you innately partner with a business both vertically and horizontally. Essentially you have worked in blue collar and/or transport/heavy industry or site based environments, and would be comfortable travelling (locally) when required, with occasional travel overnight (rare).
Additionally, your cv would reflect the following key differentiators:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a HR Generalist or BP;
- Associated degree in Human Resources, Business or related tertiary studies (highly regarded);
- Proven experience with EBA’s (highly advantageous);
- Curiosity for new and emerging practices, experience implementing initiatives and ensuring legislative currency with a passion for IR/ER functions.
