Our client is currently requiring a
Junior Product Manager to join a high-performing commercial team within a large-scale food manufacturing environment supplying major national retailers. The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Marketing & NPD, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and growing a portfolio of food products in a fast-moving, high-volume manufacturing business. This is not an administrative support role — it’s a commercially focused position where you’ll be deeply involved in product performance, margin optimisation, and execution excellence.
You will: - Support day-to-day management of key product ranges
- Assist with product launches, renovations and rationalisations
- Maintain pricing, specifications, packaging data and master product information
- Contribute to annual planning cycles and customer range reviews
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs across R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
- Track timelines, stage-gate milestones and launch readiness
- Support artwork approvals, packaging compliance and go-to-market execution
- Analyse sales data, competitor activity and market trends
- Prepare performance reports and margin insights for senior stakeholders
- Support pricing reviews, promotional evaluations and volume forecasting
- Communicate product changes and launches across the business
- Support brand initiatives and campaign rollouts
- Assist with packaging development, labelling compliance and regulatory requirements
Who We’re Looking For - 3–4 years’ experience in FMCG, product management, marketing, or agency environments
- Agile, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong initiative, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with both internal teams and external partners
- Confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
- Commercially curious with attention to detail and composure under pressure
