This role is pivotal in overseeing operations, overseeing a workforce of approximately 100 employees and about to increase significantly and focusing on efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards;
• Optimize production processes to maximize output while minimizing costs;
• Lead and develop a team of both skilled and unskilled personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, logistics, cold stores and quality assurance departments to streamline operations;
• Implement and monitor KPIs to track performance and drive productivity gains.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a food manufacturing or meat processing environment;
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor teams;
• In-depth knowledge of production management principles and practices;
• Exemplary problem-solving and decision-making abilities in dynamic environments.
