This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing international freight forwarder that is building serious momentum across Australia. With established offices in Brisbane and Sydney, the business continues to strengthen its national footprint and is well positioned for its next phase of growth.
Due to expansion of a major project, they are looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team. Working closely with an existing operator based in Sydney, you’ll play a key role in coordinating the movement of freight across Australia, ensuring the smooth execution of complex logistics requirements from origin through to final delivery.
This is a relatively new position, created to support a significant project that is now moving into an exciting phase of growth. With further stages planned, you'll have the opportunity to grow alongside the project and take genuine ownership of its day-to-day logistics operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating national inland transport movements across Australia.
- Managing depot coordination, container movements and loadouts.
- Organising deliveries and freight movements into airline terminals.
- Coordinating significant daily airfreight volumes and dedicated aircraft charters.
- Overseeing general product and logistics management on behalf of a major customer.
- Liaising with transport providers, depots, terminals and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring shipments, managing priorities and ensuring timelines are consistently achieved.
- Providing hands-on operational and project coordination support as the project continues to scale.
You'll ideally come from an international freight forwarding or logistics background, with a solid understanding of export operations and the ability to coordinate complex freight movements.
You'll bring:
- Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transport or project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of export operations with exposure to container movements and airfreight charters.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confidence communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to take ownership, work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
