An opportunity now exists for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance frameworks and strengthening quality systems across the site.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Oversee day-to-day QA and food safety activities within production
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, AMIC, and Department of Agriculture regulations
• Conduct internal audits, hygiene inspections, and critical control point validations
• Investigate incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints, driving corrective and preventative actions
• Maintain accurate documentation, audit trails, and compliance records
• Partner with production teams to reinforce best practice in hygiene and food handling
• Support product assessments, shelf-life studies, and improvement initiatives
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, laboratories, and cross-functional departments to uphold standards

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years’ experience within meat production or food manufacturing
• Strong understanding of HACCP principles, GMP requirements, and export compliance
• Exposure to auditing processes, environmental monitoring, and verification programs
• Excellent attention to detail with confident communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems or laboratory testing (highly regarded)
• A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset with genuine pride in food quality
