Our client is currently seeking a Senior Estimator who thrives on ownership, precision, and delivering winning tenders. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping projects valued between $5M–$50M, working alongside experienced precontracts and project teams in a business known for its strong pipeline and long-term client relationships.
  
The Opportunity
Step into a senior role where your expertise directly influences project success. From first principles estimating through to tender submission and project handover, you’ll be trusted to drive outcomes and make a real impact.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender preparation for large-scale civil projects
• Interpret drawings, specs, and geotechnical data with confidence
• Develop detailed costings, quantity take-offs, and pricing strategies
• Source and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Support seamless project handovers with clear budgets and scope
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders

  
To be Successful:

• 5+ years’ experience in civil construction estimating
• Engineering or Construction Management qualification highly regarded
• Experience with MS Project or similar software
• Proven ability to price projects from first principles
• Strong technical understanding of civil infrastructure works
• High-level attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Confident communicator with strong organisational ability
• Proficiency across Excel and standard estimating tools
