Job Details

We are currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Brisbane’s Northern Suburbs.

This is a hands-on spray painting position focused on the external painting of Ute canopies. All preparation work is completed by other team members, allowing you to focus primarily on producing a high-quality painted finish.
This opportunity would suit someone with previous experience working as a Spray Painter within an automotive or panel shop environment.

The Role

Working as part of the production team, your responsibilities will include:

• Spray painting the external surfaces of Ute canopies
• Applying consistent, high-quality automotive finishes
• Checking completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Working efficiently within production requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organised spray painting area
• Following workplace health and safety procedures

The canopies will be stripped, sanded, prepared and taped by other team members before reaching you, so your primary responsibility will be the painting and finishing process.

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you will need:

• Previous automotive or panel shop spray painting experience
• Experience producing high-quality external painted finishes
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Ability to work consistently within a production environment
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Availability for the duration of the 6-month contract

Please note: This role specifically requires panel shop or automotive spray painting experience. Industrial spray painting experience alone will not be suitable.

Hours & Location

• $55 per hour
• Brisbane Northern Suburbs
• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am – 2:21pm
• Consistent day shift
• 6-month fixed-term contract
