Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing all warehouse freight activities;
• Ensuring ABF and Biosecurity compliance requirements are adhered to;
• Assigning workload to team members within the warehouse department;
• Maintaining stock integrity and monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy;
• Arranging distribution of cargo as required by 3PL and ecommerce clients;
• Ensuring maintenance and repairs are performed on all machinery operating within the warehouse as required;
• Supporting and maintaining ongoing training and education within the warehouse;
• Adhering to KPI management and reporting requirements.

To be considered for this position applicants must demonstrate:

• Proven experience supervising staff within a Customs and Biosecurity controlled facility;
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations;
• Current forklift licence with recent operational experience;
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
• Developed analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, delegate tasks and meet deadlines.
