Pace Appointments have joined with an industry leader looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to assist the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. 


The Role 
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic warehousing professional with strong leadership and people management skills to lead a small warehouse team. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who has a strong understanding of warehousing processes and how to improve them.

Your Responsibilities 

• Participate in and promote a safety culture.
• Supervise/Manage and assist the day to day running of the warehouse operations, with specific focus on receipting, picking, and the timely dispatching of goods.
• Develop strong inventory management practices to ensure inventory accuracy, along with cycle counts
• Ensure pick accuracy for all orders to both internal and external Customers
• Participate in and promote a culture that adheres to the highest quality, GMP and Food Safety standards.
• This is a hands-on role and will require someone that is happy to work with and assist the warehouse staff on the floor.

 
Candidate Requirements
As the company is focused on driving process improvements, this is fast paced role and would suit someone dynamic and not afraid of change. You will need to be hands on, forward thinking, a problem solver, have excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions & influence.  

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience preferably within a cold storage / Freezer warehouse environment. 
• MUST have current LF/LO License.
• Good knowledge of inventory distribution and control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in MS word and excel.
• Strong experience using relevant ERP or WMS.
• Happy to take on responsibilities that are more hands on at times.
